I'm an old timer but dropped out of law school a year ago. Haven't kept up with anything since then. I'm thinking of dropping back in unfortunately since this path somehow seems even worse than being in law school (min wage regardless).
I'm assuming things are still pure shit, but whatever. How are things looking?
Can I get a TLDR of the last year or so in the law industry? Forum

slight improvements for T14 schools for OCI last year, numbers will be out for this year pretty soon. if you were well below median, probably not worth coming back yet/ever.

Top ~15% at fordham, no journal. Struck out at OCI and left.twentypercentmore wrote:slight improvements for T14 schools for OCI last year, numbers will be out for this year pretty soon. if you were well below median, probably not worth coming back yet/ever.

Still pure shit if not worse.
Structural changes still eating away at billable services.
Government spending freeze has prevented new grads from getting a lot of gubmint jobs.
Law school applications have fallen off a cliff at some schools with job prospects just as dismal. See Iowa Law http://www.lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com/201 ... nightmares
