Probably can't hurt especially if you can tie it into a good personal statement. You may also be able to receive some need-based aid that others will not. It definitely won't get you in where your numbers wouldn't though.

Typically not much. Might be good material for your essay, however. LSAT score, GPA & minority status are the most important factors in law school admissions.

You got the socioeconomic boost for undergrad. Any residual "boost" for law school is not even worth a single point on the LSAT.
