Is it possible to be enrolled full-time in law school while enrolled at a different school in another graduate program (not dual-degree)?
For example, I wanted to do a dual degree but didn't get into the master's program at the school where I'll be attending law school. I was hoping in second semester of 1L to take two classes in addition to my law school courses that will be offered in the other program in the evening. Yes, this sounds crazy, I know.
From an ABA standpoint, is this ok? There aren't rules against that, are there?

I don't know if it's expressly prohibited or not, but I assure you that it's an awful idea.

Sounds like a great way to mess up your 1L gpa

Wouldn't it be easier to just smash yourself in the head with a baseball bat every morning before class?

Re: Law School and Grad School at the Same Time?
I was considering doing my dissertation for my PhD while going to law school, and I eventually decided to just leave the program instead because of this reason (and that it'd be much better to build my resume/network with my spare time rather than write a book). But to answer OP's question, I don't think there's anything against the rules about this: in my HLS interview, I mentioned that doing both was a possibility, and KB didn't bat an eye.Nova wrote:Sounds like a great way to mess up your 1L gpa
