Chance of admission to lawschool with lsat 155 and 3.85 gpa?
Does anyone have advice on admissions to JD program at Tulane or Top 50 Law School with an LSAT of 155 and UGPA of 3.85?

top 50 might be a little vague, but in theory you'd be able to snag a couple ones in the 40s like UF.
the reason i say in theory is because I dont want you to put this into practice. definitely retake and dont waste that gpa.

Take as much time as you need (even a year) and study like crazy for the LSAT. A 3.85 is a good enough GPA to get you into Harvard. Don't waste it on Tulane, or any school with abysmal job prospects for that matter.
Or, if you absolutely have your heart set on Tulane, retake and get a ton of scholarship money. Would you wait a year if it meant someone would pay you ~120k? I would think yes.

You won't get in anywhere that will be even close to worth what you'll pay. You have a GPA that doesn't bar you from a single T14 with the right LSAT. Study properly and retake.

Why in the name of everything holy would you waste that GPA on anything less than a top-10 school?

3.85 is so beautiful
it can't settle for anything below a 170 for its significant other

Thank you to all who responded to my question. I think I will take the advice and retake the test and try for a better school.

Look at this, people taking TLS' advice and likely leading a better life because of it... if only everyone did thisdowling2014 wrote:Thank you to all who responded to my question. I think I will take the advice and retake the test and try for a better school.
