Not sure which tread this belongs in
Do you think I can get money merit aid out of UVA if they gave me 90,000 but two higher ranked schools gave me 60,000 (NYU, Chicago). If so how do I word that letter?

Probably not at all. If higher ranked schools matched their offer it'd still be hard to get more. Doesn't hurt to try, speak to how you appreciate their offer and have other compelling offers to consider and mention what they are. Talk about employment stats that may reflect better on the others, but how graduating debt free is important too, and maybe end with "if you give me X more I will commit right now." Only if you mean it if course. Anyway, small chance of success but worth a shot.
Have you tried negotiating the two matching offers with each other and the UVA offer with one of the other schools? One school might raise theirs based on that and then you can take that back to UVA.
