Anyone using a Macbook know of any good Note taking apps?

Post by Barack O'Drama » Sun Feb 03, 2013 2:41 pm

I've been using Pages for my Macbook when in class, and on my iMac at home I have Word 2010. Wondering if anyone used any App Store note-taking apps they recommend? Something I could purchase/download on both?

I'm a big fan of Circus Ponies Notebook.

I use the notepad in Microsoft Word and it gets the job done.

I like Circus ponies so far..It is $59.99 so bit of a commitment, but overall, its looks really good. Yeah I have used the notepad for Word, my only problem is I only have Microsoft office on my iMac and on my Macbook I have iWork. I've been just using Pages for Mac and it gets the job done. Just wanted to see if there was anything else out there, so thank you ;)

Won't match the other listed options when it comes to functionality but Evernote is neat little suite that has an application for Macs + iOS. If you have an iPad / iPhone any notes that you take on your Macbook will be pushed to that device and vice versa. I believe it's also free ... at least it was when I was using it last year.

I'm a big fan of evernote...use it on all my Apple devices and it is much more affordable than other options. It also has a lot of monthly storage space

+1 for evernote. I use it for a lot more than just note taking. The free version is pretty great, but if you want you can get more functionality and storage space for like $45/yr.

And if you use it purely for notes, I really can't see you needed any extra space than what they afford now.
