Timing Question

Post by Qwerty12345 » Fri Jan 04, 2013 3:28 pm

Given a 178-180 lsat, does the prospect of a 0.05 point increase in GPA (3.65 to 3.7) justify waiting for Fall grades to be released to apply to schools, or is it better to apply with the 3.65 around Thanksgiving? The only two schools I plan on applying to are Harvard and Columbia. Non-URM, decent softs. Do schools usually re-evaluate your application once Fall grades are released in January?
Thanks!

Oh, I'm only a junior now, just feeling things out for next year.

This is a really silly hypo since ~.1% of test takers actually get those scores and also posted in the wrong forum. But no worries, OP. You are a special snowflake.
