I will likeley end up at a tier 2 law school given my gpa and LSAT score.
I was just wondering, if you end up at a #55 school or higher, and say you place in the top 1-3% of your class, what would you say the likelihood of getting accepted as a transfer?
Do they look at undergraduate record too, or just almost soley on 1st year law performance?

I'd be a lot more concerned with how (un)likely it is to end up in the top 3% than how likely it is CLS would take you with those grades. It's a bit like saying, "if I win the lottery, how long will the waiting list be for a Birkin?"

Theoretically, yeah you could, but you would literally have to be at the top of your class- as in top 5, not top 5%. TLS mantra is do not go to law school expecting to transfer, and i gotta agree here. your chances of transferring into columbia from a tier 2 are miniscule. Do not, i repeat do not count on it. Best bet is to retake your LSAT and get into the best school you can, because its doubtful you will be able to transfer up.
On a side note, from what I've heard for transfers they only look at your 1L record.
