Go to Vermont, they have the best Environmental law program. Completely ignore that they are very poorly ranked compared to Texas.
Vermont carries great weight in Texas.

Re: IN STATE VS. OUT OF STATE
I am an Environmental Earth Resources major at TCU, and I have taken environmental law classes, Enviro Compliance, Compliance Law, Official HAZWOPER training.
Out of school, My father and his friend partnered up ~10 years ago and created Wildlife Habitat Federation for the preservation of wild quail.... It is now managing over 40,000 acres of privately owned land and is regarded as the tip-of-the-spear as far as on the ground quail restoration goes. Besides that I'm not sure what to answer other than it really interests me and i beleive i have great ideas for the future... They have worked in one region so far!
Thanks for your interest,

I was not being serious. If you want to work in Texas and are from here, go to the best school you can get into. If you're not from Teas, go to UT.
Completely and totally disregard any "environmental law programs" that a school may or may not have. They are irrelevant and will not help you get a job.

Re: IN STATE VS. OUT OF STATE
All publicity about environmental law specialization is crap. It's mostly just PR as law schools often teach the same things. One or two extra environmental law school courses isn't going to make you more hirable in Texas than a 3L from a Texas school.TexasFrog2013 wrote:I was looking int CU Boulder but someone said all their publicity about environmental law was crap, to my surprise.CanadianWolf wrote:Colorado has a solid environmental program.

Go to T14/UT/Vandy/SMU/UH/B. If you cant get into SMU/UH/B with atleast some scholarship, retake.
