Hello,
I am looking to apply for a spring 2013 program. If I were to apply and get denied, would I be automatically reconsidered if I took the October test and got a better score or would I have to apply again? I have heard the school will automatically get my score and send me a new decision even if I dont apply again, but I'm not 100% sure.

Law schools don't have spring programs. Well, at least law schools worth going to don't.
I think you would have to reapply regardless.

but if the deadline is nov. 1st to apply for spring start and the scores possibly don't come back from the october test results, reapplying may not work. even though the school says they still accept oct scores for a spring start. so im debating if i should have an addendum that says please do not make a decision until october scores come out.

In neary every case, one should run far, far away from the sorts of law schools that have Spring classes, not towards them.
Please tell us what school you are considering and why so we can assess whether you are making a terrible, life-ruining decision or not.
