Going for an interview

Post by JDanger007 » Tue Jun 26, 2012 12:11 pm

I am a 0L. I have heard mixed reviews one buddy who graduated from BU said definitely interview at your top one or two schools. I also have heard that law schools rarely conduct interviews. What is the truth. Is it worth going on an interview once i am closer ?

This.

And if you are asked to interview, you certainly should.

If you think that "interviewing" for a school may help you, go to a recruiting event. For example, a certain T6 table was markedly empty at one particular fair in DC. As in NO ONE went to talk to the lady (except me). I chatted with her about my "unique" situation. Well, at the next fair she remembered me and my situation. Of course, being a working adult, I have a decent elevator pitch and am not scared to strike up a conversation. Obviously this was not an "interview" but I shared a quick bio with someone who was bored enough to remember.
