3.85 or 3.89 GPA?
Hi everyone,
I'm just curious, but is there much difference between a 3.85 and a 3.89 LSAC GPA if you're applying for HYSCCN?

Also, check LSN's school profiles. You'll notice that a 3.89 is at or above most GPA medians. Chicago's 75th is 3.87, Columbia's 75th is 3.82. Also, Harvard and Stanford become more likely at 3.89 (median (H) or above
It helps.
EDIT> Although honestly, a single/two point increase on the LSAT will probably make more difference.

Your chances for admission change quite a bit depending if you are below the median, at the median, or above the median.

It sounds ridiculous, but in this range, .04 does matter. I would worry about whether or not it puts me at or above median. At a school like UVA it makes all the difference, especially if you apply ED.
