LSAC recently processed my undergraduate transcript. My official cumulative GPA according to my undergraduate transcript was a 3.72. LSAC is showing a cum of 3.75.
Is this discrepancy a mistake or is there a process about which I am unaware that has adjusted my GPA up?
Thanks for your insight!

Re: Possibly silly LSAC GPA question
Did you have any A+ grades?
Or your school's numerical value of certain grades might be slightly off from LSAC's (3.3 instead of 3.33 for a B+ or something along those lines).

Re: Possibly silly LSAC GPA question
I did have a few A+ grades.
I gather that this kind of variation is not out of the ordinary.
Big follow up question:
I have manually input my GPA across the applications in a variety of places (resume, etc). Should I go back and change the 3.72 to a 3.75? Is there anything wrong with doing so?

You graduated from the school with THEIR GPA, not LSAC's adjusted GPA. Leaving it on the resume/applications is fine.Syme wrote:I did have a few A+ grades.

Also, the law schools don't really look at the GPA you enter in the various places anyway, they'll mainly be looking at the academic summary.

Re: Possibly silly LSAC GPA question
Also, if you did any community college courses, those are factored into your LSAC GPA.
