New Employment

Post by msblaw89 » Wed Nov 30, 2011 5:48 pm

Hey all. I just recently was hired by Kaplan to teach and LSAT course starting next semester. I was just curious if I should send an updated resume to the schools I am still waiting on... or if I should wait and send an updated resume only if I have been waitlisted... I don't want to send an updated resume.. and then have my decision be delayed...but at the same time I think it would be a good idea to let schools know I will be teaching an LSAT prep course...help?!

I have no idea whether it will delay your response. What I will say is that your responses will likely be the same whether you update them or not. It would only be important at schools that value work experience but since it seems like you are still in undergrad and are just doing it part time those schools still probably won't care that much.

In my view, teaching an LSAT prep course part time for one semester isn't spectacular enough to require updating your apps.
