I liked that article. I don't think the schools would go for it, and why would they?

they'd still get half your money. Are they really losing anything by letting in shitty students if this became a reality?

The schools have no incentive to use this plan. Why would anyone voluntarily make less money? CUrrently 90+% stay and the schools make a lot more money. Why would they offer people money to drop out. This plan hurts the law school. Unlike Zapos which has a legitimate reason of trying to get people that value more than 4000 out of their company because they think those people are too short sided and it might hurt their business, law schools don't care about what you do after graduation. They don't gain a benefit from you quitting.
