Changing From ED to regular decision

Post by jrthor10 » Sat Nov 05, 2011 11:11 am

For a number of reasons, I am considering doing this. Has anyone done this/can speak to how this will affect my possible admittance to the school at all?

Thanks

I did this at Pitt this cycle, but I don't have an answer yet on my app (obviously). In talking to Linda at admissions, she is familiar with my app and does not seem to have any issue with it, but of course she probably wouldn't tell me if she did.

If the school has a binding ED agreement and you are seriously considering a different school, I don't think you have any choice but to switch to RD.

Did this at Penn last cycle, also know someone else who did. We both got in.
