Mock Trial

Post by Miami781 » Fri Oct 28, 2011 1:41 pm

Has anyone on here done mock trial before , or even currently doing it? How much do you believe it helps for law school in terms of preparing yourself and in terms of admission, this seems like it would be a huge extra curricular to have even though I have heard its all LSAT and GPA, but how could a school just completely look over years of mock trial and doing cases just for the love of it.

USNWR doesn't rank schools based on mock trial participation, that's how.
If you did well and held a leadership role it certainly won't do you any harm, but I doubt law schools will treat it differently than any other UG extracurricular.

Aside from rankings, because they don't care if you love the law. They care if you'll be good at it.
