REALLY curious to know..
I just read this: "claiming an illness you can't prove on your application may look like lying to the bar when you graduate" on this link: http://www.top-law-schools.com/how-to-w ... endum.html. I was just curious to know how that process worked. What happens after we graduate and are ready to take the bar? Do they ask us to prove everything on our app? Just really curious to know. I've read so many forum posts suggesting that people should disclose everything (speeding tickets, academic probation, etc.) because you can't take the bar or something. How does it basically work???

i have very similar questions too... like if an applicant claims to be a URM but really isn't how does the bar prove that?

Or like if an applicant claimed that he/she was admitted to the hospital for weeks from a car accident that resulted in a very low GPA for a semester? Will they have to show a medical document before taking the bar? I just want to learn about HOW the process works if anyone knows...

Some, maybe all, jurisdictions publish the names of those seeking bar membership in that jurisdiction & ask for public comment.
