Minimum LSAT for Northwestern

Post by 6lehderjets » Fri Oct 07, 2011 1:57 pm

Hello TLS,

I wanted to gauge TLS opinion on what a minimum LSAT score should be for Northwestern. I have a 3.2 and solid work experience in the banking industry. Non-URM. After doing some research on LSN I arrived at 172 being the magic number. Any other thoughts?

With a 3.2, 171+ would be required.

Northwestern's LSAT scores may rise this year due to their new full tuition scholarship offered to ED applicants which is likely to attract more applicants with high numbers.

High 170's.

And then, if they accept you, they will defer you for a year to get work experience.

Please note that this is a very RARE circumstance, and your chances even with a 3.84/180 aren't great sans WE.

This is not true. I think anything >= 171 has a chance to get a scholarship+deferral. Additionally, 5% of this year's 1L class has no work experience at all and I am positive that not all of those 5% are above both medians.
