U/G Transcripts
Is a copy of the official transcript included in the LSAC report with the LSAC-calculated GPA, or do law schools receive the official transcipts from the U/G institutions separately?

Re: U/G Transcripts
Neither. LSAC distills all your transcripts into an academic summary report, and that gets sent with your application package to each school. The law schools never see your actual UG transcripts.

Really? I thought one of the arguably negligible softs was the rigor/difficult of u/g coursework, but I do not see individual classes listed on my LSAC summary. How are law schools able to account for this without a complete course listing?

AFAIK (someone can correct me if I'm giving crap info here), they'll judge by your UG insitution and your major. And the summary report does show stuff like credits taken per term, right? So they can see if you slacked off or took a heavy load.aaramil wrote:Really? *bump* for the urgency of answering this.
If they don't see classes, applicants who got B+ in underwater basket weaving and Pornography 101 (soft-core) would seem to be in luck.

I've been to multiple information sessions, and each said they see what classes you took, and took that into consideration with your GPA.
