Can you do multiple early decisions?

Yea so like can i send early decision to two schools or is that just crazy talk?

Depends on the schools. You can never ED to multiple schools at the same time, but you can do multiple EDs within the same cycle. Virginia, for example, will give you an admit, reject, or waitlist within two weeks of the ED application date, so if you get rejected or waitlisted you can apply to another school ED. Northwestern, however, says you can not apply ED anywhere else if you apply ED to NU in the same cycle.

There is also a difference between binding ED and an EA program that merely guarantees a decision by a certain date.
