Hi y'all,
Sorry if this has been answered before but I did a quick search and found nothing.
I am a rising junior in UG who goes to a top LAC and has a decent GPA. However, since I have a lot of downtime this summer I am looking to give it a little boost.
My question: Does accreditation for online courses matter when LSAC calculates your GPA? More specifically, I am looking at taking a few classes at Penn Foster as they are pretty cheap. However, they do not seem to be regionally accredited. I would take classes at a CC, but the deadline for registration has already passed.
Would LSAC count them?
Much thanks.

You could pick up the phone and ask them. I believe the answer will be yes.LS2013 wrote:

From http://www.lsac.org/jd/apply/cas-reques ... cripts.asp
Transcripts to include:
community colleges
bachelor's and graduate institutions
law/medical/professional institutions
institutions attended for summer or evening courses
They make no distinction that I can see between accredited and non-accredited schools.
