I basically have NOTHING to do for the next month, and I kinda want to make some money, or at least do something productive before I start law school. Should I go for an internship job at a law firm or something? Or should I just continue to waste away? Or should I do something else? What did ya'll do? Give me some ideas please! Thanks!!!

You prob. won't be able to find anything substinative before you start (Plus you're going to want a week to get everything in order before you start LS, so really you have 3 weeks). What have you been doing for the past year? I started my legal internship in June and it ends next week. My advice is to relax. Maybe do some reading blah blah blah, there are threads on what to do before LS...

Well I used to work, but I moved to a new city so don't have a job anymore. I've just been playing guitar, modeling, skateboarding, etc. Ya know the usual.jstubbs wrote:You prob. won't be able to find anything substinative before you start (Plus you're going to want a week to get everything in order before you start LS, so really you have 3 weeks). Oh and I've been reading the Mickey Haller series! Fantastic! But I guess I'll keep relaxing. Hopefully I'll find something law related next summer.

I read the Lincoln Lawyer on a flight recently, it was gripping.scrowell wrote:Oh and I've been reading the Mickey Haller series! Fantastic!
My 0L summer prep includes watching as many legal shows as I can. Franklin & Bash is the next on my list.

Yeah it's good stuff! I'm on the 4th one. You should check out the other 3, they're pretty good too.cinephile wrote:I read the Lincoln Lawyer on a flight recently, it was gripping.scrowell wrote:Oh and I've been reading the Mickey Haller series! Fantastic!

Also, in terms of shows, Suits is pretty good/funny. I'll never be in biglaw like that dude though.

Just filled in the app, and I guess they liked what they saw. I promise I don't have connections or anything. I mean I'm pretty much at the medians so I wasn't too surprised. Why are you surprised I got in?Bartlebee06 wrote:Not trying to be a dick or anything but how did you get CUNY with your numbers?
