Do 1L Course Schedules Change from Year to Year?

Post by goatking4 » Thu May 05, 2011 10:19 pm

For example, if from the Big Six the lineup for the Fall 2010-2011 is Civ Pro, Contracts, Torts, Crim Law - would it probably be the same this coming Fall (2011-2012)? Thanks.

Not necessarily. If you are thinking about prepping for the classes or buying books for the classes, don't bother. You will find out soon enough.

This.

That said, if you specified which school, someone might be able to check next semester's schedule for you, if only for curiosity's sake.

Our school always has the same 6 but not necessarily in the same semester each year. (Or throughout one year, sections differ.)

Pitt's dropping a course called Legal Process (which is like the first semester of Civ Pro) and replacing it with Legislation.

This. If there was a school without a finalized schedule for this fall...well, you don't want to go to that disorganized shitshow.
