1) Be nice to your fellow classmates. You'll hear it a lot, but it bears repeating.
2) Whatever you really enjoy doing for relaxation, don't ever let the feeling that you are slacking by not studying get in the way of doing it on a regular basis. You need to relax. You will study better if you take breaks to read or watch a TV show or whatever.
3) Grades are really, really important. But they aren't the be-all, end-all. Most people aren't going to do as well as they hope.

Grades are insanely important, but dont underestimate what connections can do for you. Don't slack on networking when you have an opportunity, I have seen many cases of students below median being offered paid summer gigs because they met someone at a happy hour who introduced them to someone else who was hiring and didnt even ask about grades cause they liked the student.

Outside of finals, how much time would you say you guys had on weekends, assuming you kept up with your regiment throughout the week.

I was pretty much the opposite. I didn't do much on weekdays and used the weekend to read.

But either way, law school isn't really this nightmare that people make it out to be. Except for finals time and memo/brief writing, it's not that bad. Plenty of time to see movies, watch TV, read, work out, whatever you like to do.
