Question about merit scholarships
This is probably a real noob question. I don't know much about financial scholarships/aid for law schools. Does pretty much everyone get some sort of money from schools after you get accepted. I got 60k (over 3 years) from a T16 school. My grades and LSAt are pretty middle of the road for that school. So my question is does everyone get some sort of money? How do they decide how much to give? What's a typical amount given?

URM? It's unusual to get that much $ by having just median numbers.

No URM. Straight up median numbers. I thought it might be strange too. I did go to a top 10 school for undergrad and I don't think many people from that school go to this school so maybe that had an effect?

do you have financial need? some schools do the need + merit thing, so median and below median numbers get some scholarships that confuse those without demonstrated need.smokeylarue wrote:No URM.
