Schools That Give In-State Tuition to Out-of-Stater's?

Post by mrtoren » Mon Mar 21, 2011 2:09 pm

I would like to find out which law schools will easily grant in-state tuition rates to out-of-stater's. I just contacted Rutgers-Newark and they're more than willing to give me in-state rates if I can show them a 12 month lease. Are there any other universities out there that do the same?

UTexas seems to give out in state tuition equalization to anyone with LSAT 168+ according to LSN. The median for UT is 167, so I am guessing they start at one point above median.

Some schools give you in state after your first year of you do certain things. I know it is pretty easy to get in state for 2L and 3L for UGA in Georgia. California seems pretty lenient, too.

Bump.

Thanks for the info so far! I contacted Indiana and they won't give out-of-stater's any breaks. Anybody else have any input?
