How stiff is the competition in T10?

Post by gmreplay » Mon Feb 28, 2011 3:13 am

What is the breakdown of hardworking people to slackers in Columbia/Michigan or similar schools? Is the bottom 25% composed mostly of people just there to collect a degree, or is it people who work their butts off but for whom the material just doesn't click? If the latter, that's pretty scary, particularly considering one can't really know how they'll do in law school before they get there.

I know a bunch of slackers at CLS. All are at least median-ish (+/- .05). And I do not define slacker loosely. The worst grades I know spent more time studying than I spent sleeping... although that may have been a second semester result of first semester grades.

Very interesting. So does that mean that a large portion of those with rotten grades just don't 'get it'? How do the slackers perform?
