What's the proper way to withdraw, snail mail, e-mail?

I've been sending black pieces of paper with various pastas glued to them to form the words "No thanks", then sending via snail mail.

If you are withdrawing, you aren't going to attend, so just send an email and be done with it. It's not like the Dean of Admissions at XYZ law school is going to find out where you are going to attend, fly out there, and berate you for not withdrawing in a more professional way.

Like the suggestions. I personally think that simple email is just enough if you want to withdraw.

email. or if your admissions packet has a pre paid envelope and a form- fill that out and mail it in.
