Hello urryone. Many of you might have seen me camping the CLS or personal statement forums and if you are one of the many who have helped me I appreciate it!
But my question here is: I was deferred CLS ED (NOT WL'd) and want to maximize my chances of getting accepted despite being deferred (I know normally the chances are low but I have decent stats). How do I do so? I plan to send a LOCI and updated resume. I have since written a new PS that is much better than my old one. Am I allowed to send in a new one? Is it possible to reaffirm my ED commitment (IE tell Columbia if they acept me then I will still DEFINITELY attend)?
Some information: ED deferral decisions are rendered by April. Unfortunately CLS does not look at deferred EDers until after all other RDs have been rendered though so it's very rough. But better than WL I suppose. If I am accepted in April I am NOT obligated to attend but absolutely would.
THANKS!!!

Re: Deferred at CLS ED - What To Do?
Point of clarity, is Columbia ED still binding once you have been deferred? if they come back and accept you in August, are you bound to give up your seat elsewhere?

Re: Deferred at CLS ED - What To Do?
Decisions are rendered my April, according to the email they sent me (unless you get waitlisted obviously). I should have clarified that I was deferred to RD, not WL'd.
