Just curious. You'd think that a list that manages to capture La Verne College of Law up to Stanford would include UCLA.

Also, look my moniker. DOY

So are bar results reflective of the student that's admitted, or the quality of instruction, or some combination?

UCLA was 83.5%

Mad props to Western State....whoever the F they are . Anyways apparently UCLA peeps are saying their bar passage rate is getting dragged down by URM test takers - which statistically is true but what's weird is also according to that article UCLA URM's are some of the lowest performing out of URMS at any of the CA schools.

Hmm other than the western state anamoly it goes to show that going to a top school=a possible firm job=bar prep and pay advance=less stress=bar passage, lower school=no job prospect=borrow money for bar prep=more stess=no pass bar=mcjob

Very much a generalization since top ranked students from lower tier schools have decent job prospects. However, I tend to agree with you. People should be extremely vary of going to lower ranked schools or schools with consistent (not just 1 year) low bar passage rates.
