Double Degree Factor?

Post by chopper » Sun Dec 26, 2010 8:42 pm

I'm just wondering how graduating with a double degree, a BS in Business and a BA in Economics, will play into the admissions factor?

Does graduating with two degrees help to offset a slightly lower GPA (3.2) than one degree with a slightly higher (say 3.4?).

I am obviously not an adcomm, but I would say it affects your chances somewhat more than what color car you drive and slightly less than how long you can hold your breath.

Especially if they are in the same field.

Business? Econ? In all likelihood no one will care. Engineering? Maybe someone will care. Maybe.

No one will care about your two GPAs. They will only care about your LSDAS GPA.
