When is law school no longer worth sticker?
I am stressing b/c I need to round up money for law school and I am trying to be as risk averse as possible. Is rule of thumb basically outside the T-14, law school isn't worth sticker anymore? T-6? Or would you even pay sticker at T-30?

Brah. To be blunt. There is no one size fits all answer to this question. It depends on a crapload of crap. What do you want to do after school? Do you have college debt? How well do you think you'll perform at a t-14 law school? Are you a dog or a cat person? blah blah blah

Depends on how good your numbers are and if you are willing to not attend law school conditional on those numbers.

Depends on how much you can make now, and how badly you want to be lawyer.SupraVln180 wrote:I am stressing b/c I need to round up money for law school and I am trying to be as risk averse as possible. Paying sticker even at Harvard is fairly risky.

Re: When is law school no longer worth sticker?
There was a long thread discussing this not too long ago. People have different opinions depending on their situation. I'm fairly certain I want a JD and have no UG debt so I would pay sticker at T-14 and my local school. Looking at the most recent employment data alot of the lower T-14 did better or nearly as well as some T-6 schools so I'm not sure if T-6 sticker always trumps T-14 sticker, besides the braggin rights of getting into a more selective school.
Not that I have a chance there anyway.
That would suck telling everyone you go to Harvard and then not get a job. Not sure if I want that kind of pressure...Desert Fox wrote:Tell that to the number no offered, and lathamed harvard grads from the last several years. LP's are down to about 0-2 per 80 person class... I'm still deathly afraid I'll get one lolDesert Fox wrote:Tell that to the number no offered, and lathamed harvard grads from the last several years. It really does depend on you. Many people will be paying sticker or close to it and then there are others that will get $20000 scholarships. If your numbers are good, you shouldn't be paying sticker at any school. Unless it's T14. If your numbers are shitty, you'll probably be paying sticker for a T3.

I don't get why it exists. It's basically a "don't hire me" signal to employers.Na_Swatch wrote:LP's are down to about 0-2 per 80 person class... The harvard grading scale doesn't seem to work ITE with its class size. They should just go to a curve like northwestern's that is ridiculously inflated.

I'm not serious brah. Don't be sensitive. I've obviously seen this brought up in threads before, I just wanted to know what the consensus was.bergg007 wrote:SupraVln180 wrote:dissonance1848 wrote:Depends on how good your numbers are and if you are willing to not attend law school conditional on those numbers.
