Re: No News Yet. Is this bad?
Troll... Barack Obama's daughter wouldn't apply to Stanford with those numbers.stheskier wrote:I applied to 14 schools and have been complete and in review at most of them since november 1st. I have a solid 3.3 GPA and a 4.0 in my major, but I have a 151 LSAT, which might account for no responses at all.
Is anyone else in this same position? I'll take any insight to avoid studying for finals.
My list:
Seattle U, U of Utah, Denver, Lewis and Clark, U of Oregon, U of Washington, Stanford (a huge reach, I know), Willamette, Whittier, Santa Clara, U o Pacific, Loyola, Gonzaga, U of San Fran

Wrong. It's a long story, but I wasn't planning on applying there. You shouldn't categorize people soo quickly.weejonbu wrote:Troll... Barack Obama's daughter wouldn't apply to Stanford with those numbers.

so it was in your list, in a thread about waiting for admissions decisions, but you didn't apply there?stheskier wrote:Wrong. It's a long story, but I wasn't planning on applying there. True, I'll give you that.stheskier wrote:Wrong. It's a long story, but I wasn't planning on applying there. You shouldn't categorize people soo quickly.weejonbu wrote:Troll... Barack Obama's daughter wouldn't apply to Stanford with those numbers.
Still, I have numbers way better than that, although still not quite in striking range of Stanford... no way I'm gonna go get Dean Certs, etc., to apply... just not worth it...

My mom paid for it and asked me to do it for her. I rolled my eyes but complied.

Is there any way you can retake the LSAT? your scores just really aren't competitive. retaking might help a lot.stheskier wrote:My mom paid for it and asked me to do it for her. I rolled my eyes but complied.

Re: nevermind
I had 151/3.0 last year and applied to most of the same schools as you. I was only admitted to Willamette (with a scholarship). My advice is to retake it, or if that's not an option, then you'll have to open up your list of prospective schools. Feel free to message me if you want more advice.
