Ironically, this is probably inaccurate. It's most likely better to possess the ability to ASK questions, and preferably, the right questions.frost wrote:ability to figure out answers to questions

This skill is the most useful when you know the answer to the question that you ask. Except when conducting an initial interview with a client. Then, you're likely to get into a lot of trouble if you assume you know the answers to the questions you ask, and you still have to craft them carefully.

True. I just meant that in general, clients go to lawyers for help in solving problems, so lawyers need to answer questions after learning the facts and researching the law. While asking questions is important in ascertaining facts, I wouldn't say that my original answer is inaccurate.
