I only started recently but I remember how crazy applying law school can be and I wanted to answer any questions that people might have.
*Disclaimer: Obviously I haven't gone through any finals yet so I am not an authority on test taking, I can set up another thread second semester if people really want to ask about this (although TLS already has kick-ass test taking advice threads).

Are there many opportunities for 1L's to really get to know each other? Better yet, do the students seem excited and willing to interact with others?

Hah, I wouldn't worry about getting to know other 1Ls... it is almost impossible NOT to get to know each other since you are always together (not to mention the ridiculous amount of social events in orientation and at "The Aston" if you live there). To answer your second question - students here have been really nice and friendly and I have really enjoyed the vibe here.
