I figured I would post this here too, due to slightly better forum traffic.
I still think I want to be a prosecutor, and I know that DA's offices value a demonstrated commitment to that. I was looking at various internships available, and my school has a Criminal Law clinic and internships with the local DA's office. However, they also offer an internship with the local USAO offices (two of them actually). It is not the DOJ Honors program.
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with this. Is it better than a DA's internship? Worse? The same? What all do you do?
Any help would be much appreciated.

Re: Internship Question
A lot of the buzz I've heard is that people have a lot of luck when they stick to one place throughout school and then try to get an offer afterward. In that respect, it sounds like the DA thing could turn into a full time gig there (and having a job is the best way to find a job as they say, so even if it's not ideal getting real experience on your resume would be clutch). Not at all sure what the difference would mean when applying for other gigs, but I do assume the USAO program wouldn't feed (directly) into full time employment.
