JD/LLM in International & Comparative Law?
I've been offered deferred enrollement for 2011, and I'm debating whether or not to ask if I can still apply for the dual degree program. I feel pretty cliche saying I'd like the option to do something related to international law, but I'm interested in working in the foreign service or for an international organization, and it was an accident that I didn't indicate my interest on the original application. Is an LLM unnecessary and not worth the extra debt, or should I apply?

Don't bother.
Any LLM not in Tax is a gimmick (with a few very limited exceptions). It's just extra law school. You could probably pretty much exhaust their course offerings in international law during your JD program if you wanted to focus on that.

SAIS, SIPA, Walsh, KSG, etc. are probably more appropriate
