Long time reader, first time poster. I've questions that have been bugging me for a while.
I'm currently in my summer before senior year in college and I was wondering which would boost my application more,
1) Internship at a law firm or
2) Summer school to boost my LSADAS GPA.
From what I've researched thus far, it seems that GPA and LSAT are the main determinants for admission to college. I'm happy with my LSAT score, and so that brings me to my second question...
Would it look bad if I go to community college and take random class just to get some extra As on my resume?
Apologies for sounding like a grade-whore and THANKS IN ADVANCE!

Re: LSDAS GPA
University GPA is low 3.6's but when combined with college classes I've taken throughout high school and during college for LSDAS I've got low 3.7's.... the thing is I don't actually have a lot of credits since I went to study abroad and my AP's counted for a lot of GE's so taking a community college class and getting an extra A disproportionally inflates my LSDAS GPA. I'm just afraid that taking a class in underwater basket-weaving just to get an A at a community college is going to be frowned upon by the admissions officers.

Re: LSDAS GPA
I am the one who answered yes, but only because I chose to interpret the question broadly. Law schools won't care a whit. However, I will judge you severely.
