Going to Law School part-time vs full-time
Okay. So right now I am a 25 year old teacher, and am really considering going to law school, at first I was only thinking about quiting my job as a teacher, and going to law school full time, now I am looking more into, being a teacher by day, and going to law school at night. I am pretty sure I can get into Georgetown(3.7, 169) as a part-time student, and get a job in the northern Virginia or Maryland area(do not want to work in DC) and commute to law school, but I am worried that will be too much. What do you think?

I recently graduated from Georgetown and started as a night student if you have any specific questions.
To answer the one you posed, what you propose is theoretically possible, but you will work like you have never worked before. I would say it's only possible somewhere like old-town or maybe silver spring (i.e. something with relatively quick metro access). I couldn't imagine trying to do it from somewhere like Fairfax or Germantown. Say goodbye to any personal time or sleep of more than five hours at a time (at least for 1L year). Keep in mind that "Part Time" just means one less class than full time. That said, if you can hack it, it's a great way to stay out of debt. Although I ended up transferring to FT (mostly due to sheer exhaustion), that first year saved me bundle in student loans.
A nice thing about teaching is that it would leave your summers free for legal internships.

Re: Going to Law School part-time vs full-time
I don't know anybody who was 100% jobless, but I did know some people who just worked 10hrs/wk for the library. I don't think it hurt them in the job hunt too much.I am starting GULC PT this fall. Nealric- do you know anyone who was PT that didn't have a job? Did not having a job impact their chances at a summer job in a meaningful way?
Frankly, I think not working is a waste of money (and potentially beneficial experience).
