Question for people attending LS- What size laptop?
My trusty ol' 13" Toshiba is on its last legs and I need to get a new laptop ASAP.
I’ve pretty much narrowed it down to a Dell something-or-other, because I can get a sweet deal through my current company.
I can't decide which size laptop to get. I'm very used to a 13" inch, which has its benefits with portability, but it's really annoying, because it’s impossible to see a full document properly on the screen. Until now it didn't matter because I always had a work computer to supplement.
Can anyone weigh in here?

What's the biggest size you feel comfortable lugging to and from school each day?

i've always found 14 inch to be perfect, but i do a lot of photo editing so 13 inch is kinda pushing it. if i just did word processing/interweb browsing i might go for a 13 inch

The correct answer is it doesn't matter, just get an extra monitor.

I just bought a 15" and I feel like it is the perfect size.

I guess i'll have to go check out some stores to see! But keep the opinions coming...
Also, i really don't like the idea of hooking my laptop up to another monitor. I know I can, and it's easy and all, but i'd rather just have one laptop and be done with it.

I have a 17 inch Macbook pro and LOVE it. It is incredibly helpful when I am writing, as I can have multiple sources and my word window open at the same time. Anything smaller feels claustrophobic now. The full screen format PC I have at work is agonizing.

Depends if you are the kind of person that studies from home. If so I would do netbook+desktop.
If you plan on spending time in the library then it depends on what you are comfortable carrying.

I'd get a 13" screen.
