Nov 20th

Post by itsfine » Thu May 06, 2010 9:10 pm

So I'm an OL starting this fall, and I have a pretty big event planned for Nov 20th, but just wanted to ask, is that time of the year very hectic for law students? or is nov. 20th just before it gets real hectic, the reason I ask is this event is pretty life consuming and I dont want to prepare for it and use my energy on it if this time of the year is that precious in law school....any info would be appreciated

This is going to depend on your schools academic calendar (which you should be able to find on the schools website). At my school things went from mid crazy to bat shit crazy after Thanksgiving, once we got back form our break I think we had 10 days of classes then finals start. So before thanksgiving I could have done something all cosmuning for a few days, but after that bat shit crazy.

Whoa... that's my birthday too! It's also national DDR (Dance Dance Revolution) day! Make sure to plug at least the second one into your marriage or whatever it is you're planning on doing.

And the most hectic time for 1Ls is finals...

During 1L that was incredibly intense....about as hairy as it got. My memo (legal writing assignment that chews up alot of your 1st semester) was due right around then, and exams were just over 2 weeks away.
From the beginning of November on I wouldn't make any plans.
