TLS does not really have a ranking. If you look closely you'll notice that it's just the USNWR ranking. Those inter-quartile ranges are just the ones that USNWR uses. TLS just puts it all in one public and concise form. Last year it was updated the day after USNWR if that's your question.

i see what your concern is -- anyone know if last yr TLS updated it the day after it was officially released or just the day after it was leaked on TLS?

if the latter, then id imagine it'd be updated a day after the online premium release

You can't really stop something once it makes its way onto the internet. Even if TLS doesn't update officially, you'll know what the rankings are.
