I am on a full scholarship to my current university (top 20). My parent's income is below $50,000. I am not a URM. I will be going to law school directly out of UG.
LSAC GPA= 3.9
LSAT (the hypothetical)= 172-175
Question: How does financial aid work for the top universities (HYS + CCN)? Are they merit or need based? Do I qualify for either (I am guessing yes on the need angle)?
Any thoughts or links would be great!

HYS only give need-based aid. Y+S are reputed to be more generous (I've heard Harvard doesn't offer more than 30k in grants a year, although I can't confirm that).perspective wrote:I am on a full scholarship to my current university (top 20). CCN all give merit money up to full tuition. A 172/3.9 might not get any $$, but a 175/3.9 would probably not come away empty handed. CCN also has need-based aid, although the general consensus seems to be that they give less grant money than HYS.
