Alright, so I'll be finishing up my undergraduate studies next year. If my grades stay consistent, I'll have a 3.6 UGPA but the LSAC is gonna knock me down significantly for 2 0.0s I have (I did a program where you take the last two years of High School at a Community College and graduate with both a High School diploma and an AA. Both of those 0.0s happened the quarter after I graduated from High School and was trying to figure out what I wanted to go into. Hint: screenwriting wasn't it.). Since then my GPA has been 3.9...wish I would have known I wanted to go to law school a lot sooner.
Anyways, I've been trying to find ways to bump up my chances of getting in to a decent law school. I found out my university offers mock trial courses, and I was wondering how beneficial it would be to take those. Thanks!
Would two quarters of mock trial help at all? Forum

In terms of getting in, your best bet would be to rock the LSAT...concentrate on that first and foremost.

They might make writing your personal statement marginally easier. Other than that, it probably won't make much of a difference.

Ah okay. I've been studying for the LSAT for a month or two now, so I'll keep focusing my attention on that. I wasn't nearly as concerned about my GPA until I found out the LSAC will count my two repeats in their GPA. I am incredibly unhappy with my younger self now.

It would make you better at mock trial, which is something that can be valuable once you get in law school, if you're interested in doing trial work. Mock trial can be fun, too, so that's something to consider.
