From what I know (which isn't a lot), at almost all schools you have 3/4 core classes (usually Contracts, Torts, Civ Pro, sometimes Crim) and one Legal Writing/Rhetoric. This is true for your entire first year, though obviously the classes change your 2nd semestr (add Property, maybe Crim Pro, take away Torts, etc).
Your schedule will be something like class 10-11, class 11-12, break, class 2-4, something like that. Often the LRW class is in the evening for 2 hrs, once per week. You should expect to treat law school like a job (be at school pretty much 9-5), and to study during your breaks.
