Seat Deposits and Late-In-Cycle Applicants

Post by nowinGA » Sun Feb 28, 2010 3:52 pm

I took the LSAT in December and retook it in February. Because of my schedule, I submitted most of my applications in January and a few in February all before knowing my second LSAT score. While most applications did not ask whether I wanted them to hold for my score or not (a few did ask directly) I believe that is what most of them are doing.

I did hear back from my first two schools last week. (One acceptance and one wait list, not a bad way to start!)

So, my question: (and I am very green to this process and new to the TLS boards)...what can I expect, in general, in terms of turn around now that they will have that final LSAT score? Will it be somewhat fast, because seat deposits are due soon? I realize I am going to be in a position where I will have to make a VERY fast decision, because deposits will be due and I still haven't heard from most of my schools.

Anyway, not sure if this is a question...but I am trying to get some responses as to what those of us who applied late in the cycle, and took the February LSAT, can expect in terms of turnaround.
