Math in Law

Post by gweng » Fri Feb 19, 2010 10:21 pm

I wonder which field of legal practice requires the most use of math?
Also, what's the difference between Business Litigation and Business Transactions?

Thanks.

Tax law probably has the most numbers... That or other accounting related legal work...

Business Litigation is any litigation (civil action, more specifically court room action) that has to do with business. (very broad)

Business Transaction Law represents any business transactions that requires the help of a lawyer. This can be as little as a small business sale or as large as an international merger...

Again these terms are extremely broad...
