A professor in class told me today that dropped classes are calculated into your GPA as F's by prospective law schools.
Is this true? This professor never went through the law school admissions process, so maybe he doesn't know what he's talking about. This could be a huge problem for me. I'm not in the habit of dropping classes, but an idiot adviser got me to sign up for a math class that (at the time) didn't count toward the math general education requirements. When I found that out the class was useless to me, I left it. I was a freshman and not even thinking about law school at the time.
Is this going to bite me in the ass?

Re: DR grade
when you drop a class if your school just counts it as a "W" and doesn't calculate it into your GPA then your gpa for law schools won't be effected
