Where to live in St. Louis?
Likely attending WUSTL and will not have access to a car. Where should I look for apartments, and when should I start doing that?

I'm a resident of St. Louis. I've lived here for 18 years, and WUSTL (undergrad) is my alma mater. Most students live in University City or Clayton. Some also live in the Loop area, and a few live in Central West End.

We may be headed there as well. Most people we know who live there have recommended Clayton. We're a young, married couple and will likely be starting a family while we are there. So that was specific to our situation.
Sidenote: Moving from Los Angeles I cannot get over the crazy cheap rent and cool places to live in. Insane. A huge factor in making St Louis attractive to us.

Yeah, St Louis is pretty cheap. That's why I'd hate moving.
OP, try contacting Rhonda Keily. Google her in the wustl directory. She works mainly with undergrads, but she could probably connect you to someone who would help you. She's really nice and helpful.
